West Ham Vs Brighton
Even though Brighton played well and controlled the game, they ended up with a 0-0 draw. Areola, the goalkeeper for Brighton, had to make eight saves, which is the most he's made in a home league game since September when he made 10 saves against Manchester City.

There were some close moments for Brighton, with substitute Ferguson and Gross having chances to score. Moder also had a great opportunity but missed towards the end of the second half. On the other side, West Ham had their chances too. Ward-Prowse had a shot saved by Steele in the first half, and Soucek missed a chance in the second half.

Even though it was a good point for West Ham, Brighton's visitors, it was the first time this season that De Zerbi's team had a clean sheet. Now, Brighton is in seventh place on the league table, just one place behind West Ham.

Both teams will now take a break from league games to play in the FA Cup third round. West Ham will host Bristol City on Sunday, and Brighton will visit Stoke City the day before.

Liverpool won 4-2 against Newcastle United, and now they're three points ahead in the Premier League. The match started crazy with no goals in the first half, but then things got exciting.

Salah scored first, but Isak surprised everyone by equalizing. Klopp's team kept dominating, taking 34 shots and having a 7.27 xG. Jones and Gakpo scored, making it seem like Liverpool had the win. But Botman scored for Newcastle, making it 3-2 with nine minutes left.

Salah, who missed a penalty earlier, didn't give up. He scored another penalty with just four minutes left, securing a brace and sealing the win. Now, Salah is off to the Africa Cup of Nations.

Liverpool faces Arsenal in the FA Cup, while Newcastle, who lost five of their last six games, plays Sunderland in the Tyne–Wear derby on Saturday. We hope you enjoyed following this exciting match with us!

After losing to Fulham, Arsenal, Tottenham's close rivals, are now just one point ahead of them in the race for the top four. Tottenham won 3-1 against Bournemouth, and now they're breathing down the neck of the teams in the top four. Sarr scored first in the ninth minute, but unfortunately, he got injured and had to leave the game. Son and Richarlison scored in the last 20 minutes, securing the win for Tottenham. Scott, a substitute for Bournemouth, scored a late goal, but it was only a small consolation. Bournemouth's unbeaten streak of seven matches has finally ended.

Next week, both teams will be playing in the FA Cup third-round. Tottenham will face Burnley on Friday, while Bournemouth will travel to play against Queens Park Rangers the following day. It's going to be an exciting start to 2024 for these teams in the FA Cup!

Fulham had a tough time lately, but they bounced back and won their last game in 2023. They did a great job being strong and using their chances well. On the other side, Arsenal didn't do so well and lost two games in a row. This puts them in fourth place in the Premier League. If they had won the game against Fulham, they could have been at the top of the table for the start of the new year.

Arsenal scored early in the game with Saka, and they had the ball most of the time. But Fulham did better in the attacking part of the field. Jimenez scored before halftime, and then De Cordova-Reid scored from close range. Fulham deservedly won the game 2-1.

While Fulham players can enjoy their New Year's Eve, Arsenal's players need to think about what went wrong in December. This is the first time since January 2022 that Arsenal lost a game in the top league after scoring first. They had a great streak of 48 games without losing, but now it's over. Next week, Arsenal will play against Liverpool in the FA Cup third round, and Fulham will face Rotherham, a team struggling in the Championship.

Nottingham Forest won again! They beat Manchester United 2-1 at the City Ground, making it two wins in a row. The team is doing well under their new manager, Nuno Espirito Santo, especially after Steve Cooper left. First, Nicolas Dominguez scored in the 64th minute, but then Marcus Rashford scored for Manchester United 12 minutes before the end. It was a tie, but Forest didn't give up. Five minutes later, Morgan Gibbs-White scored a fantastic goal after a quick attack, securing the three points for Forest.

So, Forest is done playing in 2023, but they will be in the FA Cup next weekend. On January 7, they will play against Blackpool at home. Meanwhile, United will be away playing against Wigan Athletic the next day. Good luck to both teams!

Wolves won big against Everton, beating them 3-0! Wolves played really well, especially in the last six days where they won three times. At the start, they were doing great, and after 25 minutes, Kilman scored the first goal by poking the ball into Everton's net during a bit of chaos. After that, Everton couldn't really come back, and they didn't even manage to get a single shot on target.

In the second half, eight minutes in, Cunha made it 2-0 by kicking the ball into the net from close range after a pass from Hwang. Then, Cunha helped set up the third goal for Dawson, who scored from a left-wing cross. Even though Hwang and Neto scored more goals later, they didn't count because they were offside. But that's okay for O'Neil, the coach, because his team did really well over the holidays. Now, Wolves have 28 points from 20 games and are in 11th place in the Premier League, tied with Chelsea in 10th. Everton, on the other hand, are just one point above the relegation zone.
Aston Villa Vs Burnley

Dec 30

The football match ended after 100 minutes, and Aston Villa won 3-2 because of a last-minute penalty by Douglas Luiz! Burnley had a tough time after Berge got a second yellow card just 11 minutes into the second half. This meant Burnley had one less player for the rest of the game. But, they didn't give up. Foster broke through the defense and scored a great goal, making the score even.

In the second half, Villa really tried hard to get another goal. They tested Burnley's 10 players and their goalkeeper Trafford with shots from McGinn, Diaby, Watkins, and Luiz. Finally, Luiz got a penalty when Duran fell in the box. Ramsey, who used to play for Villa, was penalized for it. Luiz managed to score from 12 yards, and that broke Burnley's defense, securing the 3-2 victory for Villa.

This win stopped Villa's two-game streak without a win. Now, they finish 2023 in second place, tied with Liverpool at the top of the Premier League. On the other hand, Burnley is still in a tough spot, second from the bottom and five points away from safety. They really need a good start in 2024 to turn things around.

Man City won 2-0 against Sheffield United at their home stadium. They got off to a good start in the first half, scoring early with a long shot from Rodri into the bottom-left corner. Foderingham, Sheffield United's goalkeeper, had to make a good save to stop Silva from scoring. On the other side, Akanji blocked a great chance for Osula to score.

Even though Sheffield United tried, Man City continued to control the game in the second half. Alvarez secured the victory with a close-range goal just after 60 minutes. Foderingham made a quick save to prevent Foden from scoring. This win extends the Man City unbeaten streak to seven games and moves them to third place in the standings, just two points behind Liverpool, who are in the lead. Their next match is against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup.

On the other hand, Sheffield United is still struggling to win away games this season and remains at the bottom of the table, seven points away from safety. Their next game is in the FA Cup against Gillingham.

The Palace team finally won a game in the Premier League after not winning for eight matches. They played against Brentford at Selhurst Park and won 3-1. Brentford had won their last four away games in London, and they even scored first within two minutes. Jensen passed the ball to Roerslev, who made a great cross, and Lewis-Potter scored from close range.

But, the Palace team didn't give up. In the first half, Olise scored after a nice cross from Ayew. Then, Eze scored, putting Hodgson's team in the lead. Olise scored again in the second half, making it his second goal. Brentford tried to get back in the game, but Maupay hit the bar with a long shot. The next games for Palace and Brentford are against Everton and Wolves, respectively, in the FA Cup.

So, after not winning for a while, Palace finally won a game, and they are looking forward to the next match against Everton. Brentford, on the other hand, will face Wolves in their next game.

Chelsea had a good day at Luton, winning 3-2 and getting three points. At first, things seemed easy for the Blues. Palmer scored in the first half, and later, Madueke also scored before half-time. The Hatters tried hard, but they didn't even get one shot on goal in the first 45 minutes.

After the break, Palmer scored again, making it 3-0 for Pochettino's team. It looked like Chelsea had the win in the bag. But with only 10 minutes left in the normal time, Barkley scored for Luton. Edwards' team gave their all, and Adebayo scored in the last few minutes, making it 3-2.

Luton tried to equalize, but they couldn't. This win ended Chelsea's streak of not winning for four games away from home. Next, Luton has a home game in the FA Cup against Bolton Wanderers, while Chelsea will play against Preston in the same competition.

Joao Pedro helped Hinshelwood score the first goal, and he also scored the second from a penalty kick. Estupinan, who came in at halftime, made an impressive goal, making it three-nil just after an hour. Joao Pedro scored another penalty for Brighton's fourth goal. Both goalkeepers had to work hard, and the goalposts were hit many times.

Tottenham tried to make a comeback with goals from Veliz and Davies in the last 10 minutes, but it wasn't enough. Tottenham will play against Bournemouth next, trying to bounce back from this loss. Brighton's next match is against West Ham on Tuesday.

Dec 28

Arsenal had a chance to be at the top of the Premier League again, but West Ham surprised everyone with a great 2-0 win at Emirates Stadium. Soucek scored the first goal in just 13 minutes, and there was some controversy about it. The VAR and referee Oliver decided that Bowen had kept the ball in play when setting up his teammate. This was similar to a decision that went against the Gunners at Newcastle earlier in the season.

But Arsenal didn't let that get them down. They kept pushing and almost scored with Saka hitting the post before halftime. In the second half, Jesus missed two good chances for Arsenal. Then, Mavropanos, playing against his former team, headed in a goal, making it 2-0 for West Ham. Benrahma had a penalty in the 96th minute, but Raya saved it. West Ham now sits at sixth place in the league, while Arsenal is two points behind the leaders, Liverpool.

The year 2023 will end with Arsenal playing against Fulham on Sunday, and West Ham will face Brighton at home on Tuesday.

Manchester City bounced back with a win in the Premier League. They were playing against Everton at Goodison Park. At first, it didn't look good for City as they fell behind when Harrison scored for Everton in the 29th minute. Rodri made a mistake, and McNeil took advantage, setting up the goal.

But City didn't give up. In the second half, they played amazingly. Foden scored a long-range goal to equalize, and then Alvarez put them ahead with a penalty kick. The penalty was given because Onana was judged to have handled the ball while blocking Ake's shot. Pickford, Everton's goalkeeper, almost stopped the penalty, but City took the lead.

Silva sealed the deal for City with another goal just four minutes before the end. With this victory, City moved up to fourth place in the league, overtaking Tottenham. However, they are still five points behind the leaders, Liverpool. On the other hand, Everton is just one point ahead of the relegation zone, with Luton Town in 18th place.

Next, Sheffield United will play against City on Saturday, while Everton will travel to Wolves on the same day.

The game is over for Brentford as the final whistle blows, and Wolves win 4-1 at the Gtech Community Stadium. This victory is special because it's the second time in a row that Wolves have won in the Premier League this season!

Wolves had a big lead at the start of the second half. Lemina scored early with a header, and Hwang scored twice, making it 3-1. Brentford kept getting into trouble with their plays. Even though the Bees had the ball a lot, they couldn't get past Wolves' strong defense. The game was pretty much done when Collins made a bad pass to Cunha, and he set up Bellegarde for the fourth goal, making it 4-1 on the break.

Now, Wolves are in 11th place with 25 points at the middle point of the season. Brentford is in 14th place, four points ahead of the bottom three, but they've lost four games in a row. Both teams are playing again on Saturday – Wolves against Everton at home, and Brentford against Crystal Palace away.

Chelsea managed to win 2-1 against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge. Even though Chelsea initially took the lead, Palace equalized just before halftime. Mudryk scored first for Chelsea, but Olise scored for Palace, making it 1-1. However, Chelsea didn't give up, and substitute Madueke calmly converted a late penalty, securing all three points for his team.

Throughout the game, Chelsea controlled most of the possession, but Palace's Eze and Olise posed a threat, especially in the attack. Despite the pressure, Chelsea's win matched their record of 12 straight league victories against any club. This success is crucial for Pochettino's young squad, relieving some pressure.

Looking ahead, Chelsea will end their 2023 schedule with a visit to Luton Town over the weekend. On the other hand, Crystal Palace, who has struggled late in matches, will host local rivals Brentford on Saturday. Despite the challenges, Chelsea's ability to find a way to win is a positive note for them, and it sets the tone for their upcoming fixtures.

The final whistle blew at Old Trafford, and the fans of Manchester United erupted in joy. Their team had just achieved a remarkable 3-2 comeback victory against Aston Villa. The first half had been tough, with Villa securing a two-goal lead through McGinn's unusual free-kick and Dendoncker's flicked finish. However, the young players of United turned the game around.

Garnacho made the first move, scoring from Rashford's low cross. Soon after, the Argentine equalized with a shot that took a deflection. The winning moment came when Hojlund seized an opportunity created by a loose touch from McGinn in the box, scoring his first Premier League goal. This proved to be the decisive goal as United held on in the remaining minutes.

For United, this victory was significant, ending their streak without a win and earning them three crucial points, propelling them to sixth place in the standings. On the other hand, Villa missed the chance to level points with league leaders Liverpool, remaining in third place. Villa will aim to bounce back when they face struggling Burnley on Saturday, while United will seek another win in their upcoming match against Nottingham Forest on the same day.

Liverpool managed to win against Burnley at Turf Moor with a score of two-nil, even though they had two goals disallowed for being offside. In the early stages of the game, Kompany's team showed determination, but their efforts were compromised just six minutes in when Nunez skillfully placed his shot to beat Trafford and give Liverpool the lead.

Throughout the match, Burnley's goalkeeper was busy, making eight saves and conceding two other times, with Gakpo and Elliott both having goals disallowed due to offside calls. Despite having chances to equalize, including Gudmundsson's close-range header, Burnley couldn't capitalize on their infrequent opportunities and failed to make Alisson save any shots.

Ultimately, Jota's goal in the 90th minute secured the victory for Liverpool, propelling them to the top of the table. On the other hand, Burnley remains in the 19th position after the defeat.

In the first half, there weren't many chances for either team. However, Scott's impressive play set up Kluivert to score, giving Bournemouth the lead.

In the second half, Silva's team had more control of the ball, and Bournemouth played a bit more defensively. They extended their lead when Solanke scored from a penalty, marking his 12th goal of the season. Sinisterra sealed the victory in the last moments by scoring from a distance, giving the fans a nice late Christmas gift.

Luton managed to win 3-2 in a chaotic match at Bramall Lane. They were leading, but then things got messy in the second half. Sheffield United came back strong, scoring a goal just after the hour mark with McBurnie. Suddenly, within eight minutes, the hosts turned the score around, and Ahmedhodzic scored after a scrappy chance.

Heading into the final 15 minutes with a 2-1 lead, Sheffield United faced a sudden collapse. Robinson accidentally scored an own goal amid a flurry of substitutions and yellow cards. Right after that, Morris' cross hit Ben Slimane and somehow ended up in the far corner, putting Luton back in the lead. This left Sheffield United disappointed.

In the final moments, the hosts tried hard for an equalizer with late chances for Osula and Ben Slimane, but they couldn't make it happen. Luton held on to secure a second consecutive win. The game was as crazy as a hatter, favoring Luton and leaving Sheffield United at the bottom of the Premier League table. Luton is now just one point away from climbing out of the relegation zone.

For Newcastle, it's now six losses in seven matches, and the sound of disappointment filled the stadium as the final whistle blew. Wolves secured a significant 2-1 victory over Chelsea, adding to their earlier successes against Manchester City and Tottenham. This win becomes another impressive notch on their Molineux belt.

The standout player for the hosts, Lemina, played a crucial role by heading them into the lead. Chelsea had a few close calls from corners in the second half, but Wolves held strong. Toti and Dawson made heroic blocks, with Dawson unfortunately picking up an injury in the process.

Wolves seemed to seal the deal in the 93rd minute when substitute Doherty calmly slotted in a second goal, thanks to some excellent play by Hugo Bueno. However, Nkunku made sure it was a tense ending by scoring on his Premier League debut. Despite the late drama, Wolves hung on to claim the victory.

This result propels Wolves to the same points tally as Chelsea in the Premier League standings, surpassing Brentford, Bournemouth, and Fulham. As they approach Christmas Day, Wolves find themselves in the 11th spot. Their next challenge takes them to Brentford on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Chelsea sits in 10th place, gearing up for a clash with Crystal Palace on the same day.

The match wraps up with a 1-1 draw between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield, leaving both teams with a single point. Arsenal grabbed an early lead in the fourth minute, thanks to Gabriel's header from Odegaard's free-kick that sailed past Alisson into the net. However, Liverpool quickly responded, as Salah seized an opportunity from Alexander-Arnold's long pass, cutting inside and smashing the ball home to even the score.

Throughout the game, Liverpool actively pursued a winning goal, hitting the woodwork twice. Elliott came close off the bench, and Alexander-Arnold missed a golden chance by striking the crossbar. Despite the efforts, the match concluded with both teams sharing the spoils with one goal each. This result positions Arsenal at the top before Christmas, holding a one-point lead over Liverpool in second place.

Looking ahead, Arsenal is set to face West Ham on Thursday in their quest to maintain their lead. Meanwhile, Liverpool will be on the road to Turf Moor to take on Burnley on Tuesday. The race for the top spot continues as both teams navigate the challenges of the season.

Town pulled off a huge win, perhaps their most significant since making it back to the top-flight. The key move came from Townsend, who headed in during the first half, securing three crucial points as the hosts held off Newcastle. This victory is a game-changer for Luton.

To be honest, Luton seemed more likely to score again. Barkley and Brown hit the crossbar, and attempts from Mengi, Giles, and Barkley narrowly missed the mark. Even though Isak put one in for Newcastle, a close offside call ruled it out, adding to the frustration for the visitors. Newcastle had their chances, with Guimaraes, Gordon, Botman, and Longstaff all taking shots, but only Guimaraes managed to force Kaminski into making a save.

This win, the first in four games and only the third of the season for Luton, doesn't quite move them out of the bottom three. However, it does narrow the gap on Nottingham Forest to just two points. On the other hand, Newcastle's troubles continue with a fourth consecutive loss in away games, keeping them in seventh place and five points behind Manchester City in fifth. Tough times for Newcastle on the road.

On their home turf, Fulham faced a tough setback, losing 2-0 to hardworking Burnley despite dominating possession and shots. The match, officiated by the English top flight's first female referee, saw the Cottagers unable to capitalize on their clear-cut chances. Trafford played a crucial role in thwarting their efforts. Kompany's team celebrated a hard-fought victory, lifting them off the bottom of the Premier League table. Odobert and Berge's second-half goals injected fresh hope into Burnley's survival battle.

For Fulham, the next challenge is an away game against Bournemouth, while Burnley gears up to host Liverpool just after Christmas. The win gives Burnley a renewed sense of purpose as they navigate their journey in the league, leaving Fulham to regroup and strive for better results in the upcoming matches.

Bournemouth staged a comeback, securing a 3-2 victory over Forest, thanks to Solanke's second-half hat-trick. The opening half remained goalless, with Neto and Turner making routine saves. However, controversy loomed large as Boly received a second yellow card for a slide tackle on Smith, a move that seemed to win possession.

Amidst the heated exchanges, VAR stayed silent when Forest clamored for a penalty after a cross struck Smith's arm. The halftime whistle brought a temporary halt to the drama. The game's tone shifted post the break, with Elanga breaking the deadlock within two minutes, curling a precise shot into the bottom corner.

Solanke emerged as Bournemouth's savior, first leveling the score with a well-placed looping header and then turning the game around with a close-range effort. Wood's powerful header brought Forest back into contention, but Solanke had the final say in stoppage time. He connected with Smith's deep cross, guiding his header into the top corner to secure the win for Bournemouth.

Looking ahead, Bournemouth aims for their sixth win in seven games when they face Fulham in their next outing. On the other side, Forest, perched just two points above the relegation zone, brace for a challenging clash against Newcastle United.

Tottenham secured a 2-1 victory against Everton, propelling them into the coveted top four. The early moments saw Spurs dominate, with Richarlison tapping in against his former team to snag the lead. Son then capitalized on the rebound from Johnson's saved shot, slamming it home for a 2-0 advantage.

The second half saw Everton making a comeback attempt. Calvert-Lewin appeared to score, but VAR controversially disallowed it due to a soft foul by Gomes on Emerson in the buildup. Garner's attempt hit the post, and Gomes managed to pull one back in the 82nd minute with a beautiful low finish across the goal. In the game's dying moments, Danjuma nearly salvaged a draw, but his volley struck the underside of the bar before being thwarted by Vicario on the goal line.

Tottenham's triumph, marking their third consecutive win, propels them past Manchester City into the fourth spot. Their next challenge awaits with a Thursday trip to Brighton. Meanwhile, Everton, now positioned 16th and just four points above the relegation zone after Luton Town's victory, will face City next Wednesday.

The match between Aston Villa and Sheffield United ended in a 1-1 draw, sharing the points. The first half was a bit quiet, with Aston Villa having more possession but finding it tough to break down Sheffield United. Not much happened in the initial 45 minutes, but things picked up in the second half.

Emery's team thought they had scored when Bailey netted Watkins' cross, but the goal got disallowed after a VAR check. Despite the setback, Villa continued to press forward. However, it was Sheffield United who took the lead, as Archer found the net in the box against his former team. It seemed like Wilder's squad had sealed the win late in the game, but a Zaniolo header in stoppage time leveled the score.

Looking ahead, Villa is set to face Manchester United on Boxing Day, aiming to climb to the top of the Premier League table. On the other side, Sheffield United's next match is at home against Luton Town, a crucial encounter for them as they battle to improve their position in the league.
